With the release of the 2024 Topps Series 1 baseball cards, most collectors and dealers hyper-focus on the incoming rookie crop. Evan Carter, Jasson Dominguez, and Elly De La Cruz stand at the top of the rookie class and their limited production parallels have taken center stage.
After the first few weeks, the hype has slowed a bit and prices are starting to normalize. Collectors have become familiar with expected auction/marketplace prices and we’ve settled into a buying cycle that isn’t likely to diminish until other products like 2024 Bowman are released.
But what if there was an interesting short-print parallel that is widely slept on? What if that parallel was more limited in production than most of the serial-numbered foil parallels? What if today those serial number parallels sell for 1x or 2x more? Do we have your attention?
